The Campaign for a Children's Museum

Maybe you have young children. Maybe your grandchildren regularly come to visit the area. Maybe you’re a member of the community who cares about our region’s children.  Maybe you’re an employer who wants to help create something that will improve the quality of life for families in the New River Valley. Whatever your role in our community, you have a part to play in making this museum a reality for our children.

Financial support for the Blacksburg Children’s Museum is critical at this early stage. Right now, we are launching a campaign to fund a permanent home for the museum and develop innovative and relevant exhibits for a grand opening by 2015. Major gifts to the museum will provide a firm foundation and the long-term security necessary to educate, amuse, and inspire our children for generations to come.

If you are pledging more than $1,000, then please call us at 540-818-1781 so that we can schedule a meeting to further brief you on our mission. The Blacksburg Children’s Museum received notice in September 2010 that we were granted official 501(c)(3) non-profit status retroactive to April 2009, so your contributions are tax-deductible.
